Project Scope

Overview

Hastings Tennis Club needed a fresh digital presence that reflected the energy of
the club and supported its growing membership base. Their previous website lacked
clarity, wasn’t mobile-friendly, and made it difficult for visitors to find key
information such as memberships, coaching, and upcoming events.

Our goal was to create an engaging, easy-to-navigate website that serves both
existing members and new visitors.

What We Did

We designed a clean, athletic visual style inspired by the club’s brand colours
and the sport itself. The hero section features bold messaging and immediate
access to high-value actions such as membership sign-up and club tours.

The site is structured so information about coaching, facilities, schedules, and
tournaments is clearly grouped and easy to access.

On the technical side, we implemented a lightweight WordPress build with
optimised images, semantic HTML, and fast-loading CSS. This ensures strong
performance during peak seasonal traffic and simple ongoing maintenance through
custom ACF fields.
